3. Radiometrics

Fugro Airborne Surveys conducts airborne gamma-ray spectrometry (AGS or radiometrics) for major government-sponsored surveys and mineral exploration projects with both fixed-wing and helicopter aircraft. During the last three years, Fugro Airborne Surveys has flown more than one million line kilometres of fixed-wing and helicopter AGS surveys.

4. Laser Fluorosensor (ALF)

Fugro Airborne Surveys is providing new insights for the offshore petroleum exploration programs with its innovative Airborne Laser Fluorosensor (ALF) seepage detection system that uses a sophisticated, solid state laser to generate UV light which induces fluorescence in any fresh hydrocarbons on the sea surface, which satellite or other airborne techniques would have difficulty in detecting.
