RESOLVE, a helicopter-borne frequency domain EM system is designed specifically for locating conductive anomalies and mapping earth resistivities as well as horizontally layered geology, making it ideal for environmental and engineering applications. It is a unique six-frequency system, with horizontal coplanar coils measuring the EM response at nominally 400 Hz, 1800 Hz, 8200 Hz, 40 kHz, 140 kHz, and one coaxial coil at approximately 3300 Hz.
The RESOLVE system is specifically designed to provide the optimum conductivity mapping range and resolution for horizontally layered geology, providing a high degree of accuracy and fine resolution. It is best suited to resolving conductivity contrasts in the near surface to locate zones of higher conductivity material. Products available include; the calculation of 3D earth resistivity models, overburden thickness, layered inversions, EM-derived susceptibility and other advanced products.
